Chris Eubank Jr. aims to exact revenge on Liam Smith in a rematch at Manchester Arena on Saturday.

The middleweight contenders are set to meet again seven months after their first encounter, with Smith stopping Eubank. within four rounds.

It was the first halting defeat of Eubank’s career, and the 35-year-old Smith is chasing his fifth straight knockout victory.

Eubank, 33, says Smith wins it was a “miracle” – A description that his opponent from Liverpool laughed at, describing him as ridiculous.

While Smith may still be in contention for world titles with another win, Eubanks’ career may never recover from another major defeat.

Can Eubank get back to his winning ways or will it be another good night for Smith and his supporters making the short trip from Liverpool?

Here are the predictions of some of the big names in the world of boxing:

Former Unified Super Featherweight Champion Mikaela Mayer: “Hopefully I’ll see the influence of (coach) Brian ‘Bommack’ McIntyre in Eubank’s game plan. I think there will be some adjustments on his part and that will lead to a more competitive fight. Eubank Jr. is going to take the win in a close rematch.”

Heavyweight Fraser Clark: “Liam is great at breaking people down. Maybe I’ll see (the knockout) after the ninth round because Chris is fit.”

Britain’s Josh Kelly in the light middleweight category: “I think it will be a win for Smith. I’m not sure if it will be the same way, it might be a points decision this time, but I’m sure it will be another win for Smith.”

World Welterweight Champion Natasha Jonas: “Liam wins. I think the best Chris can do is make him last longer.”

Boxer promoter Ben-Shalom: “I still think Liam is the heavy favorite in this fight. And if he’s in 100% shape, he’s prepared, and he should win the fight. But he’s one of those guys that could go either way. I think we’ll see the fight we thought We are going to watch it, a long-range battle, an absolute penalty shootout.

Smith coach Joe McNally: “The son is a great talent. He can fight and box. Can we take advantage of a lot of the mistakes he makes? Absolutely, which we plan to do.”

Former world lightweight champion Hannah Rankin: “This time I’m going to compete with Smith on points. I feel Eubanks is strong and his weight will be less of a drain this time around, but I think Smith has a superior IQ in boxing.”

Hamza Shiraz Undefeated Middleweight: “I took Smith again by knockout but I feel like the fight will last a bit longer this time around, with Smith winning around rounds 8 and 10. Eubanks will be more careful with Smith this time and he could make it happen. But I don’t see it.”

Harlem Eubanks at Light Welterweight: “I expect a sure win for Chris Eubank Jr. on Saturday night, possibly in injury time.”
